This is why everyone shouldn't be allowed to carry a gun without any sort of real training or testing.

I've known the shooter for at least 25 years. He's done work for me, our sons played little league baseball together (his son, Garrett, ended up playing for UNC), I've been to his house for parties and he and his family have been to mine. He's always been a hothead, always one to overreact to any slight. And always had a gun on him or in his vehicle.
This was a stupid, cowboy action that is going to ruin his own family, and has already ruined the lives of the victim's family.
The victim's widow is rightfully distraught at the moment, but she's going to cheer up quite a bit when she learns that she's going to be a millionairess after they settle a civil suit over this. Her husband will still be dead, but at least she'll have money.
The Gore's business will have to be sold off or will shut down. David was the driving force there, his brother (co-owner) had more of a side-kick role. That's a multi-million dollar established business down the shitter, and the Gore family unemployed.
All because of a hothead with a gun who didn't even know not to have his finger on the trigger, and somebody else's stupid fucking boat.

But seriously. That’s fucked up. What a dumb act. Wonder if the other guy stealing copper will be charged with felony murder.
 
The poor dumb bastards weren't even stealing copper, one article said they were attempting to steal the rear end of a truck and the cover for a wood chipper. I don't know if that'd cover their cost of gas to get there and back. I think scrap steel is currently going for around $100/ton around here.
The whole situation is so fucking stupid and pointless, like almost every other gun related killing.

That makes me feel a lot less guilty for the times I've yelled at my dog for stepping on the remote. It could always be worse.

I think we’ve reached the inevitable tipping point where terrible women ruin all of this for non-terrible women. If it’s going to be considered sexual assault to direct a film in which a woman fulfills a contract to be filmed nude, then porn will end, so the world will end.

I'm sure Franco has said and done all sorts of stupid fratty shit with or around women, which does not add up to any sort of crime or valid lawsuit. What do reasonable women want as an end game here? Surely, it's not a society where there is zero sexual innuendo/joking/flirtation. That's the kind of frightening vision of an SJW future that got Trump elected, and maybe rightfully so.
 
The future is going to be a hellscape of bland, asexual, anesthetized language and behavior from the left while the right controls the government, owns all the guns, and rapes and kills everyone.
