Congrats Chris! The Chargers get a great edge rusher.

After redshirting his first year on campus, Rumph earned one start in 13 games in 2018, earning First-Team Freshman All-American honors from USA Today with eight tackles-for-loss and three sacks. During the 2020 season, Rumph posted a career-high eight sacks to go along with 12.5 tackles-for-loss en route a spot on the Second-Team All-ACC squad.

Rumph’s father is currently the defensive line coach for the Bears after previously spending time as the outside linebackers coach for the Texans.
