Fuck, was really hoping Sirk could get some snaps this year but now we're fucked badly. Is Boehme or Chambers going to be a legitimate passing option? We cant keep bringing in backups that are one dimensional.

Yeah, this is really fucking terrible news. He was such a great QB prospect - not in small part due to his speed and running ability - which he's probably never fully get back. Plus, they probably scale back the read option now that we have no QB depth, which was probably the most exciting about next season.

Just to rub a little salt in the wound, I talked to someone on the staff this week who thought Sirk was probably already better than Boone when he went down, aside from a few inconsistencies due to lack of experience. Said they're hoping for a 6-9 month recovery but wouldn't play this year regardless, obviously.
