Northwestern Wildcats Meet Duke Saturday

Northwestern (1-1) meet the Blue Devils (1-1) Saturday September 18th at 4pm at Wallace Wade in Week 3 of the 2021 season.

The Wildcats have lost five of their last eight road games. Hunter Johnson is completing 66.1% of his passes for 349 yards, four touchdowns snd one interception. Stephon Robinson, Jr. and Bryce Kirtz have combined for 188 receiving yards and one touchdown while Malik Washington has five receptions. The Wildcat ground game averages 163 rushing yards per game, and Evan Hull leads the way with 213 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively Northwestern is allowing 22 points and 340 yards per game. Chris Bergin leads the team with 18 tackles, Jeremy Meiser has two sacks while A.J. Hampton has three pass deflections.

Duke has lost four of their last six home games. Gunnar Holmberg is completing 71.4% of his passes for 498 yards, one TD and zero interceptions. Jake Bobo and Jalen Calhoun have combined for 301 receiving yards on 25 catches while Mateo Durant has four receptions. Duke averages 251 yards per game on the ground with Durant has been a beast rushing for 296 yards and scoring six TD's. Defensively Duke is allowing 24 points and 371 yards a game. Shaka Heywood leads the Devils in tackles with 20 while RJ Open has one sack and Lummie Young IV has four pass deflections.

Duke is a home dog catching +2.5 points.
