This is not the beamer ball team of old. They are 3-3 for the year, with bad losses to Pitt, Cincinnati, and UNC.
Bud Foster's traditionally stout Defense is nowhere near the same level it has been.
Their only real weapon on offense is Logan Thomas, a 6'6" Cam Newton wannabe. He is incredibly difficult to take down and can make a lot of plays with his legs. Fortunately, he is not the most accurate passer in the world, and his Receivers are not nearly as good as they have been in the past. It will be interesting to see if we play contain on him and dare him to throw.

They'll be hungry and will be wanting to make a statement. We're going to have to withstand that initial onslaught to have a chance.

That being said, I think VT is gonna take this game really seriously, and we'll lose by 3 TD's.

My initial belief is that VT will refocus and see this game as make or break. However, we are at a point where we have a ton of momentum.
I keep expecting to lose and keep being wrong. I still expect to lose but this team does seem different from an attitude and depth standpoint.

Thanks guys. Board looks great.
We did a pretty good job containing Tanner Price who likes to take off from time to time, but Thomas is a totally different animal. We HAVE to wrap him up at the initial point of contact. We can't afford 2 or 3 missed tackles at a time like we did against UVA or it will be a very long day.
