Player Wendell Carter Jr.

Two straight losses since his "more than victorious" comment. I hope he would settle for "barely victorious" at this point.

Second straight game he was pretty soft - surprising. He had a nice boxscore, but gave up a lot of rebounds that should have been his.

Some very impressive cherry picking from the current administration:

Best shooter in college basketball?

Maybe #DukeMBBStats will become a joke when used ironically, like #TheBrotherhood.

No question he has been the team's best player, but they need a little more from him to move forward. He is in a position where he must compensate for Tre's incompetence on both ends of the floor and Bagley's incompetence on the defensive end.

It is not a fair situation, but here we are.

It's really not that bad a case of cherry-picking though. We talk about shooting splits all time. A lot of talk about 50/40/90 seasons, etc.

Sloppy with the ball in the 1st half, but man did he play tough in the 2nd half on both ends. Really strong effort.

He's the reason we need to play zone for the rest of the season. Carter is great at defending the rim and have him switched onto the other team's PG 25 ft away from the basket is asinine.

Or K could just tell Carter, Bagley and Bolden not to switch.
That's not sufficient when their man is setting 1/5 screens at the top of the key. The point is to also have them sag, or just stay in the paint in a zone.
