Live in Austin.

Make as much money or more.

Largest talent pool to recruit from.

Own TV network.

Easier conference to go undefeated in.

No conference title game to stumble over.

I don't see how he stays.

The 'Inside Sources' of Auburn are saying this about Saban. @GabeThaGreat

-Saban has closed on a house in Austin

-A plane owned by someone named Bear Jr. took a flight from Tuscaloosa to Austin yesterday morning

-Saban was presented a new contract from Bama on Friday and did not sign it

-Saban is making jump due to awful business investments. Bad real estate deals (Texas can help with money)

-Most of Saban's restlessness has to do with Alabama's **** fan base

I read for Saban 10/$100 million and 1% Longhorn Network.

At least I didn't say it was a bad hire, just underwhelming...

It's amazing what an offensive scientist can accomplish when he doesn't have Gene Chizik or Houston Nutt standing in his way.

10 100 and any revenues from TV network is stupid. Alabama can't come close to matching that. 7 a year should be all it takes given almost any human would prefer Austin over Tuscaloosa and how easy it would be to win titles there.

So many people quoting this yesterday:

The nice round numbers sure came up from the rumor mill pretty quickly. Throwing in the network ownership stake certainly sweetens it.

If it ain't Saban it should be Briles, IMO

ACC will still have 3 decent programs next season (FSU, Clemson, Duke).

Went to med school with a bunch of people that went to Penn State and they swarm over Facebook in defense of that institution like UNCers have been despite their recent issues. They blame everyone, but the school for what has happened to them. They went crazy when people said O'Brien was going to leave weeks ago because O'Brien told some recruit he was staying. This makes me laugh. It's from Dec 4th.

I personally don't believe that Saban is going anywhere unfortunately. I also don't believe that Texas will get their #1, #2 or #3 choice. Apparently Malzahn was at the top of their list and he told them to screw off. I don't think that Texas is an up move any longer for Briles. If Art goes anywhere, I personally think it would be to go to another conference. He also won't have to deal with all the scrutiny and will have better job security at Baylor.

I wouldn't be surprised if Greg Schiano ends up with the job or one of the other fired NFL head coaches.

I am cool with anything that puts any of our conference rivals in any sort of state of upheaval. But Miami could be really dangerous again when they get a better coach, and I don't think Golden is a very good coach.

It seems that Al Golden has too much emotionally invested in Miami to go to Penn State and deal with sanctions and limitations again. If Penn State were not in the position they are in, I think there would have been a decent chance of him going to Penn State.

I could be wrong though.

Basically, the takeaway is that none of the coaches, players or fans in the ACC Coastal can deal with the fact that Duke just won the division, and are looking for ways to either throw themselves overboard from their respective ships, or have someone else do it for them.

Looks like BMFP is going back to Louisville. Son of a bitch. Anyone which division Louisville will be in? Are they simply taking Maryland's spot? It would nice for Duke if FSU, Louisville, and Clemson are all stuck in the same division.
