Notre Dame is the kind of team that gives the coach's son, freshman Braedon Shrewsberry, the 3rd most minutes on the team despite having the worst BPM (-3.3), PER (6.3) and net efficiency (-15.9) in the rotation. Might be the worst starter in P5. This would be a catastrophic loss for Duke.

Four games against ND and Louisville is hilarious. It's like copy-pasting part of our usual scrub X-mas vacation slate into the heart of conference play

There are 4 ACC teams currently sub-100 on Kenpom (UL, ND, GT, FSU), and Duke gets 7 games against them. The one Duke doesn’t get twice (FSU), Duke gets to use an away-only slot on.

There are 3 ACC teams clumped around 50-55 (Pitt, UVA, Miami), with 3 ACC opponents ahead of them (UNC, Clemson, Wake). Among those 6, Duke has a total of 9 games, 5 at home. Duke should be underdogs one time in ACC play, at UNC.

It’s probably the best conference schedule setup among all high major teams (though Duke already blew one of these gifts, at GT), and if we’re being honest with ourselves, Scheyer will be a disappointment if he can’t steamroll the rest of the way and get at least a 2 seed. Can’t blow another game like this.
