Airing of Grievances Thread

Unfortunately I neither get my 4 hours back, nor do I get to experience the finale.
 
For years I have gotten onto my wife for leaving everything in her car, unlocked, especially with the garage door still open. She always rolls her eyes and acts like I’m just too paranoid. Well early this evening, I got a notification of a large Best Buy transaction on our credit card. I investigate and quickly figure out that her purse was stolen from her car in our open garage between the time she returned home from work and when I returned. The keys were still in the ignition, so thankfully the thief didn’t steal the car. Also, her work laptop was left in the car untouched, but IDGAF about that. She’s been walking around here so gingerly all evening like a dog who chewed up the couch cushion and is waiting for the punishment.

Having to cancel all our cards and remember what bills are autopaid out of each account has been fun.

Her purse was found in a Waffle House dumpster with pretty much every card still in it. Of course we had already canceled all of the cards, so that’s annoying. The thief(s) only attempted to use one of the cards as far as I can tell. Thankfully, her ID was recovered, so she doesn’t have to do the dreaded DMV visit.

Hopefully the lesson has been learned.

Pilots who brag about landing early. Real cool dude, now we get to sit on the tarmac for 30 minutes because our intended gate has the regularly scheduled plane sitting there.

You know what doesn't count as two-day shipping? When you won't have an item in stock for two months and THEN it will ship in two days. That's two-month-and-two-day shipping.

Prime 2-day shipping is now total bullshit. The only times I truly get 2-day shipping anymore are the times the item is located in an NC or SC warehouse and I place the order before 1 PM on Monday-Wednesday. Thursday-Friday orders show up on the following Monday or Tuesday. I'm one price increase away from cancelling Prime, after probably 10 uninterrupted years of subscribing.
 
The rep I talked to was totally blase about it. Shouldn't you warn me with something like "This item is not in stock but will ship in two days once it's in stock" or something?

The more annoying thing is that it's an AmazonBasics item. How can it take you two months to get your own item back in stock?
