Wow. Burn QB redshirt for final drive. Leads team downfield in 35 seconds to set up game-winning field goal.

So is Florida like... good or something?

They're very talented on D. And they have a helluva coach.

The offense is not supremely talented, but their new OC is the former Boise St OC -- VERY imaginative.

Almost worth it. He definitely did his part.

Washington State now owns, or at least will own, the BCS bowl drought standing record. Only 9 years too.

Ole Miss, the program that fired David Cutcliffe after his first losing season in his six-year tenure there, is now 2nd to last in its division and will likely finish there. Ole Miss fired Cutcliffe because he refused to fire his assistants and because Ole Miss expected to win SEC championships.

Wikipedia: "Despite his 44–29 record, five straight winning seasons, and guiding the team to its first 10 win season in over 30 years, Cutcliffe was fired by Ole Miss's Athletic Director Pete Boone in December 2004 after the team posted a disappointing 4–7 record and three consecutive losses to LSU."

Here are the SEC records for Ole Miss since firing Cutcliffe:

2005: 1-7
2006: 2-6
2007: 0-8
2008: 5-3 (made bowl game)
2009: 4-4 (made bowl game)
2010: 1-7
2011: 0-8
2012: 3-5 (projected)

Total: 16-48 (.250)

A giant thank you to Ole Miss from Duke fans everywhere.

In 2007, 20 Ole Miss football players were placed on indefinite probation by the University for having stolen pillows and clock radios from hotels in which the team had stayed in. All 20 players paid for the stolen items and therefore no NCAA rules were broken, according to the NCAA. Coach Orgeron stated that the incident would be dealt with internally and that no one would miss the season finale against arch-rival Mississippi State, because none of the 20 players had been a discipline problem before. For the same reason, that being no previous discipline issues, the school refused to release the names of the players.

The 2007 season was a historic one for Ole Miss. The Rebels went winless in the SEC for the first time since 1982 – 25 years. The Rebels, under Orgeron, ended the season at 3–9 (0–8 in SEC play).

The 2007 season culminated with the firing of Orgeron on November 24, 2007. Three days later, Houston Nutt was hired as the next head football coach.

The Ole Miss Rebels finished 4-8 overall in the 2010 season, including 1-7 in the Southeastern Conference. Among the worst of these losses was to FCS-member Jacksonville State, which was Ole Miss' first loss to a lower division team since 1945. In an ironic twist, the HC of Jacksonville State at this time was Jack Crowe, who had resigned under pressure one game into the 1992 season as HC at Arkansas after a season opening loss to FCS-member The Citadel. Houston Nutt was an assistant on Crowe's staff at this time.

Nutt set an Ole Miss coaching record with his 12th straight Southeastern Conference loss. On November 7, 2011, Nutt was fired by the University of Mississippi, but was allowed to coach through the end of the season. His final game was a 31-3 loss to Mississippi State.

Wake Forest's offense is anemic

Clemson's... not so much.

This is making me a little scared for the next couple weeks. Hope we show that we really are on a different level than WFU.

Marcus Lattimore carted off the field with a serious injury. Both team benches clear to wish him well. Sad.

My god that was ugly.

That was Willis McGahee level ugly.

This is the downside of forcing football players to play 3 extra years of competitive football before making money. Lattimore was born to make at least $50 million over the course of his life. No longer.

I had the game on in the background, thankfully I didn't actually see it. I'm sure that SMTTEM will post the youtube of it here now.

So State blows a 10 point 4th quarter lead and loses on a Gio Bernard punt return with 13 seconds left. The best part? NCSU was. 7.5 point dog. Holder botches the snap, has to pick it up and run and finds a guy in the end zone for 2 points. UNC covers. Lol.
