ESPN3 has a map when you click on "subject to blackout" link. Go to upcoming shows, and look for whatever you wanna look for.

When I went to set my DVR (TWC, Durham area) it gave me a listing on WRAL, channel 105 (not the usual WRAL). That's going to work, right?

Now that smoking is prohibited everywhere, my favorite place for watching a game in Durham is Devine's on Main St, across from Brightleaf Square. Their wings are my favorite and they have big TVs.

You can smoke at Whiskey in downtown Durham. Not sure why. Grandfathered in somehow or some special permit.

Love the bar. Really expensive though.

Does it count as a "Private Club"? Private clubs are exempt.

I think NC in general and Durham in particular have found that the lack of smoking has not hurt business one bit. Until August 2012, you could walk outside and smoke. Now, for the most part, you can't.

Whiskey is exempt because they sell cigars. same as with Havana's in Raleigh. being a private club isn't enough.

You are right

Non-profit private clubs, country clubs and cigar bars are exempt from the smoking restrictions. In order for a cigar bar to qualify for the exception, it must satisfy a list of criteria.
