I predict a win

Re: Florida Gulf Coast at Duke - Sunday, Nov 18, 8:00pm ESPN

the real questions are how much playing time will murph get and does K finally unleash marshall

Re: Florida Gulf Coast at Duke - Sunday, Nov 18, 8:00pm ESPN

Didn't they beat Miami?

Re: Florida Gulf Coast at Duke - Sunday, Nov 18, 8:00pm ESPN

At first I was confused by the presence of fans at a Miami game but then I realized....did they actually play that game at FGCU? I guess so, what with the Lipscomb banner. Who knew that people show up for FGCU games? What is FGCU anyway?

That score looks realistic, but I'm hoping it's a bit less close than that so that Jefferson and Murphy can play a lot.

True. Would love to see us get out and run and hit somewhere around 93-71

Jeez, I hope we keep them to well under 71. Ideally, 60 or less. #optimism

Re: Florida Gulf Coast at Duke - Sunday, Nov 18, 8:00pm ESPN

Is there somewhere I can get the FGCU vs. Ave Maria feed?

Re: Florida Gulf Coast at Duke - Sunday, Nov 18, 8:00pm ESPN

I think we murder. Like brutal murder. Then, when we play Miami, we lose.

Marshall Plumlee was originally thought to be ready for Florida Gulf Coast but expect that date to be pushed back for precautionary reasons.

Re: Florida Gulf Coast at Duke - Sunday, Nov 18, 8:00pm ESPN

Think Marshall apparently had some soreness in the foot recently during his rehab that's delayed his return.

Re: Florida Gulf Coast at Duke - Sunday, Nov 18, 8:00pm ESPN

Not a big deal, really. Will be nice to have him for Battle for Atlantis and OSU, if possible, but I doubt he will play much anyway unless Mason is in foul trouble.

Re: Florida Gulf Coast at Duke - Sunday, Nov 18, 8:00pm ESPN

We basically just need him to give us size when Mason gets in foul trouble. As long as he can run and rebound, he'll be useful.

Re: Florida Gulf Coast at Duke - Sunday, Nov 18, 8:00pm ESPN

Prediction: Marshall Plumlee will score 12 points and grab 6 rebounds in his Duke debut (whenever that may be).

Unrelated, but my tarot cards just came in.

Hairston performed very well while Mason was out. He's an unexpectedly good offensive rebounder for his size. But it will still be nice to have another true center out there.

I was very pleased with Hairston's play against UK. I just wish K would get him to quit taking those long jumpshots from right inside the 3 point line.
