We basically just need him to give us size when Mason gets in foul trouble. As long as he can run and rebound, he'll be useful.

Hairston performed very well while Mason was out. He's an unexpectedly good offensive rebounder for his size. But it will still be nice to have another true center out there.

I was very pleased with Hairston's play against UK. I just wish K would get him to quit taking those long jumpshots from right inside the 3 point line.

That is the least efficient shot in basketball, but he makes it at a pretty high rate so I am fine with it.

Hairston is becoming exactly what I hoped and expected from him. Solid role player who will give you hustle on defense, draw charges, get hard-fought rebounds, and get the occasional points off of stickbacks or wide-open jumpers. I can't understand why some Duke fans (no one here) can't accept him for what he is. If he was on Virginia Tech, he'd be their best player because he had to be. We are fortunate that we don't need that.

So I download the watch edpn ap and sign in for a free trial and it says I have access til 11:47 PM. So i click the Duke game and it makes me put in my email and choose my provider and I do all this and it still wont let me watch it. WTF???
