Yeah, I turned 30 in June, and it was awful. For some reason 30 was the one I always dreaded.

30 didn't bother me nearly as much as 33. I'm approaching my mid-30s. All the people who told me this would be my best decade have been wrong so far. I guess if this book is a success that could change quickly. But the odds of that, with any book, are pretty low.

That's not to say my 30s have been bad. Just more of the same, only now I feel increasing pressure to do something with myself and more and more like a loser with every year that I don't.
