Pick'em Pools

As part of the board upgrade, I've added an integrated sports Pick'em feature. While we've had pick'ems before, they were always run through the sportsbook and were quite tedious. The new pick'em feature should simplify, streamline, and broaden our pick'em capabilities. It can be found here or in the activities tab of the navigation bar.

Anyone that is interested in starting a pick'em pool for a given sport/season/partial season, let me know and I'll make you a commissioner.

This thread can be used for all Pick'em related discussions.

Our first pool is a quick and easy one for the NFL preseason.
It will be 4 weeks long.
Picks will be made against the spread.
Each weeks picks will be made available 4 or 5 days in advance and you will receive an alert 2 days before the first game is played.
Each week will feature every game.
Winner will get $1000 in DF Credits and there is no cost to join this pool.

I would be interested in doing the rest of the baseball season if we had at least 3-4 people interested. I realize it's a lot of games and commitment, though, so I understand if nobody is.

For baseball you'd probably want to do something like 10 "Games of the week."

Once you've joined the pool, select the week number you want to make picks for (between standings and comments), then click the "manage your picks" button.
