Won't it be great when we can harvest all of the "precious" metals we need on other planets? Spend 3 months salary on a diamond? I don't think so.

I wonder what could happen to the world economy if we suddenly had an unlimited supply of what we now consider precious gems and metals. What would take their place? Because I believe there will always be something with no intrinsic value that people prize.

Water has intrinsic value. It has to be something that's virtually worthless in it's own right. Like pearls or gold or something. What would replace them? Dinosaur fossils?

Beanie babies. Copies of Microsoft Office. Vampire books.

There's a trend of people wearing shirts with that slogan on them.

I don't really think it's in the best taste.

There are shirts? That was the first time I'd ever seen it. I thought it was satire!
