For you tech-savvy folks, how easy is it to replace an old fashioned spinning HDD in a laptop with an SSD? Does it make sense to buy a laptop with HDD and immediately replace with a 1 TB SSD that costs about $130? Seems like the extra cost for a 256 GB SSD already built-in rather than a 1 TB HDD is much more than $130.

Prices are improving. I need ideally 2 TB, so will wait a little longer for SSD prices to come down further. Samsung prices are closest to affordable for high storage.
