Duke has only won titles in years that add up to 10 or 11, or are composed of the digits of ten and 11. (9+1, 9+2, 01, 10). Therefore, our next chance of winning a title is 2019, 2021 (because 2-1 = 1), 2028, 2029, 2032, 2037, 2043, 2046, 2054 and 2055.

3 out of 4 of Duke's titles were won during the administration of a man named Bush. Therefore, Duke should hope that Jeb Bush is elected president

Duke went 9 years between the second title and the third title, and another 9 years between the 3rd and the fourth. Therefore, 2019 is a very special year, because we have the 9-9-9 plan working in our favor as well as the 9+1=10 factor.

In the year we won titles in the 90s, also known as the (N)ineties, we lost those years to a team named (N)orth Carolina. In the new (M)illennium when we won titles, we lost to a team named (M)aryland. Now that we're in the (T)ens, we need to lose to a team that starts with "T" if we want to win a title. Someone needs to instruct Coach K that we must lose to (T)emple this year if we want any chance of winning it all.
