SignUp Now!Duke is considered by many the frontrunner for Jones, a 6-1 point guard out of Apple Valley (MN), and Okafor, a 6-10 big man from Chicago Whitney Young, although Okafor said nothing is done at the moment. “That’s a rumor, I’m not committed yet,” Okafor told SNY.tv from the U.S. U19 training in Colorado Springs, Colo. “That’s a rumor.”

About that package deal…
“I don’t know if it is a big or little factor, but it is a factor,” Winslow said. “To be able to go to school with those guys would make that program very elite. I want to go to school with them, but all three of us have to do what’s best for our families.
“If it happens that we go to school together, all three of us, that would be the best. I’m really excited. I don’t know how it is going to unflold. If it does unfold that way, I’ll be really happy.”
In other words, it would be more like a happy coincidence, not a true package deal if Winslow ends up with Jones and Okafor, who echoed that thought as well.
“The third guy, we love Justise, but that’s not a guarantee like me and Tyus,” Okafor said. “The option is there.”
