Duke heads into objectively its toughest test remaining this season, having just discovered the benefits of passing the basketball and taking open shots.

If Duke wins this game, I’ll have us pegged as legit title contenders. Over the last decade, only 2015, 2019, and 2022 pulled out games like this on the road.

I think we had to win tonight's game so that we could lose this game. After our performance tonight Kenpom has the following spreads the rest of the way:

Duke (-1) at Wake
Louisville @ Duke (-22)
UVA @ Duke (-11) (I'd never lay that many against UVA)
Duke (-6) @ State
UNC @ Duke (-4)

Really not concerned about Louisville or UVA at home. Should win both handily. Need to find a way to split the last two road games. Or have the Cavs beat UNC on Saturday.

Duke-UVA is almost always close. I definitely wouldn't take Duke at -11.

UVA has played some atrocious basketball away from Charlottesville this year. I’ll be disappointed if we don’t win by double digits.

Glad they still play in the Joel, FWIW. I think part of the demise of the ACC is the arenas all used to be small, loud and full. NCSU moving out of Reynolds is a great example.
