LSU lost the game on the 3rd down before the field goal. Their QB had been torching Alabama all night, playing the game of his life and they take the ball out of his hands. Kicker misses the field goal and Bama scores a TD to win by 4. I told my roommate when the announcer was saying something like "I wouldn't feel too confident if I was Bama the way they've played this half" that I would've bet my life-savings that Alabama would score at worst a field goal but most likely a touchdown. Sure enough, they did it with ease. Still can't believe they didn't let the LSU QB try to make a play on 3rd down.
