Duke Recruiting General Discussion

If the analytics consultant prefers this guy over other guards who may provide better midrange and slashing skillsets, i'll defer to them, but still feel like we're missing a bread and butter shot-of-last-resort midrange specialist?

I feel like that last resort midrange Flagg can handle, I’m more worried about having a get to the rim guard/wing. I actually think right now KK is our best bet for that, not for his quickness but he’s probably big and strong enough to bully most SG defending him.

Foster should be able to do it. His first step is okay. He could get by people some in HS.

Kon's got pretty good handles for a 2-guard. I agree should be able to get by his guys plenty between than and his physical strength.

Yeah, don’t know if I like just handing over an elite shooter to Hurley, to go along with McNeeley who’s probably announcing within a week.

It was hard for me to get past Brea not ever consistently starting for Dayton in four years, especially given that the offense revolved around Da'Ron Holmes (and thus you would think you'd want shooters around him). Going to tell myself that must mean he isn't actually that great of a net-sum player.

I thought the same thing. Something felt off between his great shooting and lack of starts. Although he did play almost 30mpg even though he didn't start.
