Eternal Feats of Strength Thread

Yeah I do. Especially on the sides. My dad was completely gray by the time he was 35 so I might be following suite.

My feats of strength in the last week have been work related. I am trying to get a new building into shape for a new thing I'm doing, and I'm painting the inside of it right now. The ceilings are about 20 feet high. I am using an 18 inch wide, rough nap roller that holds about 10 pounds of paint on a telescoping metal pole. The building is 5,000 square feet.

You get the idea.

It's taking you more than a week? 8-)

Well, in addition to the painting, I have removed hundreds of yards of old electrical wire from the building. Electrical wire that was still hot, yet not actually attached to any receptacles or lights, etc. This required standing 14 feet in the air and removing staples from joists. But you can still suck my ass.

This whole board is spoiling for a fight tonight. Well if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you shall have.

Haha. That'll be one for the great Eternal Feats of Strength: rhfarmer v. nukem. I give myself too much credit.

Now, get the orange headband and then we are talking!

Just went on the first 5+ mile run of my life. Watch out for the next Steve Prefontaine...

In the flesh and mud.

And drool.

That was actually water. We were being sprayed by a fire hose while crawling through the mud. It does look like drool though doesn't it? Haha.

How does one get the firehose gig?

Haha volunteer I guess. The whole time I was crawling I kept thinking two things. 1) Damn that firehose water feels great in this 87 degree weather. 2) I wish I could be spraying people because I would destroy everyone.

Just finished the Quintiles Half Marathon. Now I have to make sure I am prepared for my next Spartan Race this coming Saturday.

Sounds like you are a professional eternal feats of strength kinda guy

Meh, I just like the t-shirts and medals. I probably won't do another half marathon. I think I am going to stick to the obstacle course races.

Just finished the first week of p90x, and I'm sore all over. The workouts are easier cardio-wise than Insanity but definitely push me more to muscle fatigue.

Holy fuck! I worked out so hard today that apparently I became dehydrated and was pissing brown. Luckily it cleared up.

Physcis: It definitely gets easier but it is ALWAYS hard. If that makes sense.
