No! Phrenology!

Dec. 20th was my 5th anniversary of running a minimum of one mile every freakin' day. Christmas, thunderstorms, sick, post-vasectomy: every day.

Post-vasectomy? My God, you are not of this Earth.

Re: 2012 Feats of Strength Thread

I needed to cringe today, anyway.

Don't let anyone ever say you aren't an inspiration.

Re: 2012 Feats of Strength Thread

I dropped right at 20 lbs doing Insanity from Sept-Nov last year, and I somehow have managed to avoid gaining any of it back even though I haven't worked out in two months. I'm hoping to start p90x soon. (I'm lazy. Training with the guy on the video is much easier for me than trying to come up with my phone fitness routine.)

Start p90x very soon. I did p90x a couple of years ago and lost 30 lbs. I did not work out after finishing it for about 4 months. Right around the middle of the 3rd month is when the weight started coming back.

Had a pentakill and baron steal in the same game - biggest fluke ever. Believe that's also the biggest feat of strength that I will ever accomplish therefore putting in this thread.

Oh shoot...CK is a pro yo.

Do you want my account? I never sold it.

Re: 2012 Feats of Strength Thread

Thain, are you doing the spartan beast in Miami in a few weeks? What kind of gear do you recommend for these races, going to do the Hero Rush in Austin at the start of March

Re: 2012 Feats of Strength Thread

Yeah I am signed up for it. Assuming the Hero Rush is as muddy as the Spartan I would wear clothes you don't plan on keeping or wearing again. I wore shorts, old shirt and shoes I was planning on not training in anymore. I ended up having to trash everything but my shoes after the last race. They are a lot of fun but you will get muddy as hell.

Does anyone care to explain vitamin supplements to me? Are they actually useful if you're under the age of 40?

One of my friends is trying to talk me into that. I probably want do it. The shit they do is kind of crazy. I know someone who did one and the first obstacle was jumping into a pool of ice water and then at one point he had to military crawl under hanging tasers.

What are you getting at, Rollins?

I purchased a premium performance multivitamin from Costco. Is this actually helping me metabolize and digest what I put in my body?

I lift 3 times a week and eat a lot of food, not always enough fruits and veggies. I guess I'm just curious as to what a standard multivitamin is helping me with.

I meant with the "under the age of 40" part. But since you seem so earnest, I would recommend that you only buy a food based Vitamin supplement, such as those made by Nature's Plus. They are a little hard to find.

Less than two weeks from my Super Spartan race in Miami. This is the course as they had it set up last year.

I'm going to be the first to finish the Tough Mudder. The first guy under the height of 5'8 that is.
