I mean, yes, they tie him up so he can't negotiate with other teams. But even if he's in the GLeague the whole time, at least he gets to make $76k instead of the 26-30k most GLeaguers make (like he did the last two years).

Also, Luke gives effort on defense. The best he's going to become is JJ Redick on that end -- a net negative but not a crippling one.
