Former Wake Forest defensive coordinator Lyle Hemphill has been brought on as the safeties coach, the program announced Sunday evening.

I was curious to whom Elko would keep from Cut's staff. Looks like Trooper Taylor is the lonesome hold out.

I imagine Elko will mostly run the defense. Smith will probably be similar to Ted Roof at Oklahoma under Venables. Couldn't be worse than the Guerreri experience of the past few years.

Still waiting to see what the plan will be for OC. I haven't seen anything official yet on the Robb Smith DC guy, so hopefully that sorry hire fell through.
