Based on the reviews for Mission Impossible and "Teen Titans Go! To the Movies," this will be an all-time great movie weekend. Cinema classics.

TIL that Tom Cruise is the same age in this Mission Impossible that Wilford Brimley was in Cocoon, where he was one of the old retired guys that the aliens rejuvenated.

This is from Cocoon: The Return, which came out 3 years later. Don Ameche is 80, Hume Cronyn is 77 and Wilford Brimley is 54.

As far as pointless action movies go, MI: Fallout is near the top. Along with MM: Fury Road, one of the most enjoyable non-superhero big dumb explosion movies.

Anyone seen BlacKkKlansman? Reviews are good, though critics seem to like it more than audiences (probably because it's Spike Lee and it deals with race).

I've always thought Spike Lee was a little overrated, but he does have some good movies.
