I'm not sure why Democrats are giving Republicans who dislike Trump a platform at their convention. Many of their voters don't like it and don't want to listen to people like Kasich, and this won't turn the tide in stealing Republican voters. Kasich opposed Trump in 2016 when he was Governor of Ohio and Trump in the end ran away with the state. It seems to me as if there is absolutely nothing to gain for Democrats by giving these people a platform.
