SignUp Now!You can tell this dude is an absolute killer. Are you looking forward to the UK game? They're all silent except for RJ who immediately says yes.
Montverde advances to the National Championship tomorrow at noon with a win over Bol Bol and Findlay Prep.
R.J. Barrett had 22 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block (on Bol Bol no less)
7-19 on 2s
2-4 on 3s
2-3 on FT
Findlay played variations of zone the entire game and had 2 7-footers and a 6'8 guy going to Arkansas.
R.J. Barrett postseason stats (All star games and National playoffs) (3 games):
25-43 on 2s (58.1%)
3-9 on 3s (33.3%)
22-28 on FT (78.57%)
Bol Bol has a lot of work to do, btw. His number 4 ranking is based almost entirely on long-term potential. His shot is really slow to develop, has a low motor, is too skinny, etc.
Fewer drives because of the 7 footers inside, IMO. He was settling for bad shots today.Axe, Why did RJ get to the line so much less so than last game?
You may have given us this before but what are Barrett’s three point percentages with the largest possible sample size? We are going to need him and Tre Jones to get up to the mid 30s to avoid the kind of defense that was played on Duval.

35% on a relatively large sample as a senior at Montverde before the postseason started.
He's much better when open and set or from the baseline. He takes a lot of contested ones in high school trying to prove he's a star, IMO.
They'll both be around 35%.
Why doesn't Kevin Boyle coach at the collegiate level? Or higher? Do shoe companies give him so much money he isn't interested?
