I'm glad we all supported him after his missed lay-up. We knew he would bounce back.
For the math-challenged: this means all our lame Non-Goldwire lineups combined were outscored by 20.
59-39 with 8:06 to go. 32-10 after.
he does have a knack for getting or forcing steals in his limited minutes. He also has a knack for missing wide open layups and 3s. I kinda of want to rewatch and see where he stood on offense during the last 9 minutes of the game
He's really only usable when we are pressing like that. He has a role now if Coach K continues to utilize the press, even if it is in small stretches.
In addition to the press, Goldwire played really good halfcourt D on the last possession, covering Cunningham on the shot without fouling.
One offensive play after this, Cmon said we shoulda had a chance. He knew something was up.
