Seems to confirm Filipowski is announcing today, the staff was honest with Mgbako about needing to compete for playing time, and Duke is willing to crowd out the SF and PF positions by going smaller next season. All of these are positives, in addition to the potential net positive of Mgbako not putting up terrible efficiency in a one-year stop at Duke. Or he just wants to go somewhere else, which is what it is. Probably the happiest we’ll ever be about a decommitment. We can stop trying to force him into rosterbation projections while not really wanting him in there.
