In all seriousness, what is preventing Duke from being as aggressive with its athletic future as a school like SMU? Institutional / donor willingness? Perception?

Seems we could make a big splash (and secure a solid ROI?) if we start dropping serious money on coaches, support staff, facilities upgrades and NIL. And if we don’t take these steps now, I’m concerned they may not be available to us in the future.
