Duke fans will shit all over that guy, but I see no downside in giving a scholarship to someone who can grow into 6'9" 250 with legit high major offers. Zaf is getting a scholarship whenever Duke is below 13, right? At worst, a guy like Gavin Schilling is a practice body to put up against Marshall instead of having to put Murphy there all season.

He certainly looks good enough and tall enough. I wish we'd been on him longer.

That offer list should ease some concerns, especially given what we need from him. If he matures into a huge impact guy with size, even better.

The real get would be his brother, Gary Schilling in the 2014 class. Also, the youngest brother, Garrison Schilling (2016) is said to be the most fundamental of the three, albeit with a bit less athleticism.

That's what I want to see next year. Ton of versatility and size at every position.

I think I'd have been with you when you wrote this, but Cook really is becoming a great pg. I think he adds more on offense than he takes away on d (which is getting better, especially with the board work thrown in). Cook, Sheed, Hood, Parker and Marshall. Potentially Amile at the five if he can add a bit of weight. We'd be a little thin but really long, quick and athletic with devastating scoring ability. We could certainly go big like your first post, but I'm loving our ball movement right now, and would hate to scale back on that.
